Looking for a Reciprocal link exchange?

Expecting to find a site offering link exchanges? Sorry to disappoint you, but we are using this site to educate individuals, such as yourself, on the pitfalls, and alternatives, to link exchanges. We hope to help better define link exchanges to educate those who may be looking for information on search engine optimization and may have heard, that at one point in time, about the benefits of link exchanges.

link exchanges – dont lose your online business

There are still, to this very day, SEO companies and even software companies touting their link exchange programs. It’s a little shocking to see search engine optimization consultants, that should know better, flagrantly posting, right on their website, that one of the primary techniques that they will use to try to achieve higher search engine rankings for your website is to setup a link exchange. You see link exchanges are in direct violation of Google’s terms of service and ultimately their webmaster guidelines. For a supposed “search engine optimization specialist” to openly advertise that they will use methods, such as link exchanges, that could lead to your site being heavily penalized on the low end and completely banned from the Google search engine on the high, to me, is the epitome of stupidity.

We will be launching the new site with a lot of good resources for building your link quiver to maximize your search engine ranking for the long haul. Well, that and avoiding the wrath that will come upon you for excessively exchanging links.

Everything from ED drugs to that really nice prince in Zimbabwe that wants to send you $14 million he just needs your bank account first. This SPAM is, sad to say, to be expected. What really kind of ticks me off is the constant barrage of UNSOLICITED link exchange emails that we receive here every day. Dear God people what is it 2001?

That brings us to today’s most recent email. Read and Enjoy. [click to continue…]
